The people

Brian - Bringing this project from concept and design to implementation has been an incredible journey. I talk a lot about 'my table' but it's only 'my table' in the fact that it is in 'my' basement. This project would not have been realized except for the help of the following people.

David - "Tuesdays are now so empty for me"
If this project were a business David would have been our Director of Putting Shit Together. All the skills and experience I lack, David had in spades. Even when we were doing something new to both of us, he more often than not saved me from my self.

Chris - "I just love working with this casino quality foam."
My buddy Chris is the go to guy if you ever want something wrapped in cloth and stapled down. Chris shied away from the construction aspects of the table choosing instead to save his talents for the upholstery or when I make something out his preferred media of cardboard and duct tape.

Jan - "You're not going to actually buy that are you?"
Kudos to Jan, my Ma, for getting dragged all around the world to fabric stores and the like with the expectation that she dispense sage advice on the spot as to exactly what kind of vinyl to buy, and what kind of batting would be best for the table and a million other similar questions. Not only did she help with the shopping and coordination aspects she was also instrumental in the upholstering process. Now add to that that 3 of the barstools were a Christmas gift from her? Best Mom Ever, yeah I think so.
